Children seem to live in a kingdom of love. There is so much we can learn from them.
Jesus said “anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” “The kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
I believe Jesus calls us to have loving hearts like children; to live a life of blissful joy, in the kingdom of love.
As we let go of outdated thoughts that no longer serve us, we have more space within to to love, be playful and trusting like a child.
Have you ever watched a child playing on a playground fall, jump up quickly, brush themselves off and run to catch up with the other kids? They don’t take the time to care what others think, they live in the moment of joy and wonderment.
Many of us, take life way too seriously! We beat ourselves up for things that we did and said many years ago or a minute ago. We hold onto resentments for things done or said to us by others long ago or yesterday.
Today, I pray we live in the moment with the heart and love of a child, enjoying the blissful joy of the kingdom.
And so it is!
