Have you ever not wanted to be heard? NO……DAH!!!!!!

My love language is one on one communication. If I don’t feel heard, I want to scream – & when I want to scream or do scream – I am certainly not listening to what anyone else has to say. I am so focused on getting my needs met that I have no idea what the other person’s needs are, nor do I care – sound familiar???

Well……..I’ve learned if two or more people are screaming to be heard, NO ONE is heard. This is a really a good time to take a time out. Adults take a time out? – ABSOLUTELY – we have the right to take a time out. It’s a good time to ask ourself what is really going on inside? How old do we feel? There is usually some childhood experience/s that contributed to the way that we are feeling, that had nothing to do with the other person/s. What was it? For some of us, we didn’t receive a platform to speak on – children were meant to be seen not heard – what did we know anyways.

Jesus says to come to Him as little children – humble ourselves – then we will know the “kingdom” – Mt 18:3.

Being innocent and humble is our doorway to freedom – heaven.

I am learning to BREATH deeply – Pray – & NOT TAKE IT PERSONAL. When I imagine myself as a third party to the experience, taking myself out of the drama, I am able to look at the situation with much more clarity and objectiveness.

This takes effort for sure – it’s Radical – it’s  worth it!!!!!
