No matter what religion we affiliate with or don’t, any day, is a great day to choose resurrection. Even if we are dragged to the cross, it’s our choice to stay on the cross. Through surrender, love and forgiveness we ascend into freedom.

We have all experienced some kind of pain, some more than others for sure. If I’m laying in the hospital with a fractured ankle and my roommate just had her foot amputated, my ankle still hurts. As we acknowledge our pains large and small and what we consider the source of our pains, we can choose to forgive and let them go.

Holding onto past pains and resentments, affects our current moment, we bring those feelings into each and every experience. As we forgive, we are not saying that the behavior was ok, we are saying we are no longer going to carry this pain. As we get off the cross of being a victim and step into the freedom of resurrection, doors of endless expansive possibilities open.

We are here to grow and let go. The moment we allow our souls to guide us, is the moment we step into freedom. We all have a Higher Self, a Holy Spirit within, as we tap into that all knowing wisdom, we find a peace that defies all understanding. It’s from that place of peace that we operate from a higher vibration of love. As we courageously get off the cross of grievances and victimhood, our world shifts into more love and light.

Some of Jesus’ last words on the cross were “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”. What a great example of forgiveness.

Today I pray we let go of any thoughts that keep us on the cross, so we can soar to new heights.

And so it is!

blessings & love,
