Surrender is not about giving up, yet it is. Surrender is about giving up the illusion that we have all the answers. It is about ridding ourselves of the desire to control our world and everybody in it.
I struggle with knowing what’s right for me, how in the world could I possibly know what’s right for someone else. All we need to know is that we all have our truth within us. We were perfectly created and are perfectly divine.
By surrendering the moment to the Divine, we can trust that our greatest good is being taken care of. Surrender is about letting go of what we think should happen, letting go of the need to be right or of trying to control a situation or person.
When we surrender our concerns about jobs, relationships, children, finances or any other troubling thoughts, our bodies relax, our minds become free and miracles begin to happen.
Surrendering our worries creates an opening for imagination and creativity to have expression, giving us new direction and purpose. SURRENDER IS PRAYER IN ACTION!
Today I pray, that we have the courage to surrender our thoughts, words and actions to Divine Love.
