What if it’s not about you?
A comment, a reaction, or something that happens can quickly bring up old feelings of not being good enough—even when we’ve done a great deal of inner work.
I’ve experienced that myself.
This is a reminder that what other people think, say, or do is about them. It is not a reflection of our value.
Our worth has never depended on someone else’s opinion. The love we are searching for isn’t something that comes from outside of us. Nobody can give it to us, and nobody can take it away.
It already exists within us.
We are magnificent, creative beings here to expand and to love.
