Have you ever been in awe of someone’s talents or attitudes? If “you spot it, you got it.”
You might be saying I can’t play music like that or sing like that, maybe not, but how else are you creative, how else do you extend yourself in the world? Maybe you decorate, cook, paint, woodcraft, photography or write, we are all creative beings.
And how about attitudes, isn’t it great to be around someone who is sincerely positive and happy?
When we appreciate an attitude, behavior or talent in others, it’s an opportunity to appreciate it in ourself.
How often do we see greatness outside of ourself and forget to look at the greatness within?
So often, it seems easier to look at the negative instead of the positive; in doing so we give ourself reasons and excuses to live small. It can be easier to believe we are “not good enough,” because if we were to choose to acknowledge our true nature of unlimited creative divine essence we would have to step out of our comfort zone of complacency and do something radically different. We would have to step into to the terrifying UNKNOWN!
Today, I pray that we acknowledge and appreciate our divine nature, consiously laying down the comfort of limiting past beliefs as we step into the great unknown where limitless possibilities await us.
And so it is!
