Trusting can be difficult, especially after being hurt. I have yet to meet someone who has not been hurt by the actions of another person.
One of my favorite sayings is “It’s better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all”. I don’t know who wrote it but I have come to realize it’s truth.
It doesn’t seem nearly as hard to close our heart as it is to open it. Let’s face it, it seems safer to put up a wall and not let anyone in, then it is to have an open heart and have it broken. The truth of the matter is, when we have a wall around our heart, we might not be in pain, but we are certainly not happy.
Happiness is not about trusting somebody else. It’s about trusting ourselves, the Divine within. It is important not to take the actions of others personal. Remember, expectations are premeditated resentments. We all make mistakes. Forgiveness is a gift that we can give ourselves.
Miracles are just waiting for the making.
Today I pray we trust the Divine within and allow love to freely flow in both directions, out and in.
And so it is!
blessings & love,
Until next time, BE radiant, radical & real!
