A Day of LOVE!

I love Valentine’s Day, because it’s a day that we intentionally celebrate LOVE.

I wonder what would happen if we put our Focus on Love everyday.

The dictionary says love is “an intense feeling of deep affection.”

A quote from Albert Einstein “If one day you have to choose between the world and love, remember this: if you choose the world you’ll be left without love, but if you choose love, with it you will conquer the world.”

The Course in Miracles says: “Love is everything; perfect love is the goal for all of us and we simply have to let it in.

Martin Luther King Jr on love: “Love is the force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.” He also said, “I have decided to stick to Love… hate is too great a burden to bear.”

“You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserves your love and affection.” Buddha

Jesus said,  “God is Love.”

Love is a Choice!

Today, I encourage us all to involve our senses that we are fortunate to have in the experience of Love.

Sight:

Looking in the eyes of those around us, including our own eyes, see Love.

The Light of Love is in there, even if it appears to be hidden, look deep.

Notice the surrounding beauty: the sky, nature, landscape, color and architecture, being in the moment with the of beautiful details all around.

Smell:

Taking deep breaths, breathe in the aromas of the moment, appreciating the sense of smell.

There are so many emotions that are associated with smell, for some it’s the smell of fresh brewed coffee, fresh air, baby powder, the ocean, bread out of the oven, or a fire burning.

Let’s smell the smells and feel the feelings.

Hearing:

Being in the moment with all of our senses creates an experience. In an instant we can give ourselves permission to just BE in the moment and allow Love to come in.

When we listen, we can hear love in the wind, the water, the song of a bird, the playful scurry of a squirrel, the wag of a dogs tail, the love in a voice or the love in our breath.

It’s in the silence that we hear the whisper of our Soul.

It’s in the quiet that we get to know OUR truth.

Touch:

I wonder how different our world could be if we touched with love.

Let’s practice being in the moment with our touch.

Most of us struggle with self love. What an amazing practice it would be for us to feel self love every time we touched our hands or scratched an itch or touched our face.

Wouldn’t it be Awesome to eradicate our critical self.

Think about all the things we touch: food, drinks, mail, papers, doors, cabinets, appliances, vehicles, electronics, clothes, shoes, phones, furniture, door handles, equipment and of course people.

If we lived in a conscious state of love with every touch, I am pretty sure that we would live in a constant state of love.

LET’S DO IT!

Love truly conquers ALL!

Cheers to celebrating LOVE every single Holy moment of every single day.

Until next time,

BE Radiant, Radical & Real.

hugs & love,
